Here is a recently uploaded CCTV documentary that talked about China's development of large aircraft. It contain some shots that I have not seen before, including interior of Y-9 cargo hold and 3D model of the Y-20 cockpit. I find it interesting that they choose to use airbus style side stick on the C919 but Boeing style control yoke on both ARJ21 and Y-20.

I especially appreciated the coverage of the Y-9, although interestingly they didn't call it by that designation.

Anyway, the Y-9s cargo hold did look much more modern than the y-8Cs. The detail of the FLIR ball was also nice.

I'm glad the PLAAFs mainstay transports, y-9 and Y-20, will be quite good looking.
