Yes, they were using these loading platform loading cargo onto Y20, shown in images a few years ago. It can cut short the time using forklift for loading/unloading.

The reason the Y-20 was nicknamed "fat girl" was because many of the designers' children were girls. They eventually felt the Y-20 was like another child of theirs, so they settled on calling her the fat girl.
