Sorry guys, I read the graph wrong by counting one less staging. 2nd stage main engine run from about 150s to 300s. The expected plot (in yellow) seems to indicate that from 300s the acceleration is to be lower. This may mean that it is the vernier engines pushing the stage, the main engine should be shut off from 300s and onwards.got a screen dump about ZQ-2 launch from here
Look at the graph on the bottom right. It seems that the second stage did not provide any DV, velocity remained flat. The 2nd stage flew in a free ballistic trajectory. Seems to me that the problem is not the vernier failed, not only at least. The main engine of 2nd stage did not start. If it has started but vernier thrusters failed, the 2nd stage will gain velocity even if that means accelerating downwards or side ways.
