Arrowhead/Space Epoch has successfully carried out a static ignition test of its VTVL test vehicle, which will be used in an upcoming sub-orbital flight with ocean splashdown and towed recovery. The test lasted more than 20 seconds.

The main structure of Qiankun commercial rocket hot-fire test facility has completed. Capacity up to 1000 tons. Service will start within first half year of 2025.

可满足单台推力300吨以内各型号的发动机试车需求,直径5m内、推力1000T以内的火箭子级动力系统试车要求。项目一期建成后全年满负荷可完成火箭发动机试车100次,或50次发动机试车以及火箭子级动力系统试车10次。

The facility can test:
1. Single engine up to 300t thrust. Or rocket stage of up to 1000t total thrust
2. Up to 100 times of engine tests per year. Or 50 times of engine tests plus 10 times of rocket stage tests per year.
3. Rocket stage up to 5 metres in diameter.
4. [addition] the facility is compatible to both LOX/Kerosine and LOX/Methane engines.
