Try reading the comments: boy either those Filipinos are beyond stupid, or they're simply bots created by the U.S. and Filipino operation to give an impression of support.
It's the former. Levels of historical amnesia and ignoring global developments are astonishing in this country. I remember someone stating to me that the Americans "liberated" the Philippines from the Spanish, so I asked him if they just gave "everyone over ten" in Samar a cuddle. It won't be surprising that most Filipinos still think we're still living in a Turboamerican Age, when the world has moved beyond it.

You want my honest opinion bro, the opening salvo for the 2025 election and the possible downfall of the Marcos administration. The VP had finally fight back, what made her do so since she is in principle a part of the ruling coalition and had been silence until now. The reason 1) Marcos and his cousin plan to change the constitution to suit their political agenda to extend their term in office. 2)Marcos effort to tarnish her father legacy 3) the spark that test her patient, Marcos plan of allowing the arrest of her Father Rodrigo by the ICC, that's the trigger. And my analysis it is part of Rodrigo Duterte MASTERFUL strategy to topple Marcos by either thru the ballot in 2025 or on the street just like the 1986 EDSA revolution. Just look at his action this past week, he volunteered to appear in both the senate and house of representative to grill him regarding EJK under his watch, by law he can refuse it because of the separation of power between 3 institution of government, plus he had legal immunity as president as he perform his oat to protect the republic. He used the hearing so that he can speak directly to the people (Marcos control the Media and had silent the opposition media SMNI by arresting its owner Quiboloy) and the masses empathize with him. So yes the father come out to protect her daughter who is very stubborn (well who can blame her after ignoring her father advise on teaming with BBM), political novice and independent minded, now both of them are together to unite and fight the Marcos family (Romauldez the speaker is Marcos cousin thus they control the purse of the gov't to bride the media and his political opponent just like his late father Ferdinand Marcos) and their cronies.
Totally an accident, that is completely unrelated to Japanese warship entering Chinese waters earlier.
Also Diaoyu Dao is not in SCS, this is the wrong thread. Diaoyu Dao is patrolled daily by China's coast guard, the Japanese will never get that island regardless of the buoys.
