China's SCS Strategy Thread

This recent slap on the Philippines is a clear example of China reeducating them out of the colonial mindset. They put US in a pedastal and think their magical military can cower China into submission. But the more confrontations like this happen, the more they realize they are on their own. I think this is a playbook that China will follow to reducate all the other US vassals like Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

This is China's playbook to dominate the 1st island Chain without WW3. Slow greyzone creep along with economic interdependence until there is a change in mindset of people of those countries and they kick US forces out and let PLA setup bases.
These small nations, Philippine, vietnam, etc they just need to swap out the anglos for Chinese as their liege lord. These people will never truly be free, in the sense that they scorned Chinese overtures of friendship and civility as weakness and it wasn’t until they got bitchslapped that all of a sudden Filipinos love China and want to hump the chinese coast guard’s leg.

Chinese Type 022 and hospital ship were nearby the June 17th incidence also.

The Type22 is actually incredibly well suited to play in such scenarios.

They are very fast, have the AK630 which allows it easily end a near peer gun fight, but also packs AShMs to allow it to punch way above its weight against 3rd party heavies should it need it. Even if it looses such an unfair fight, it’s a small insignificant asset with few crew, so if anyone was looking to throw a sucker punch, better the 022 take that than something bigger.

The hospital ship shows that China wasn’t taking anything for granted and was prepared for the worst.

If they had thought of the possibility of needing the hospital ship, then of course they would have games out possible scenarios and counters and have appropriate rules of engagement all mapped out beforehand.

All I can say is that the Philippines is lucky their SpecOps SEALs were so useless and gave up without incident.

Again Sir what is their mission, to reinforce the delapilated ship? If yes then the one who planned it deserves to be shot. With logistical constraints they will become a liability and a waste of precious resources.

“SCS, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the RHIB. Its five-year mission: to resupply dilapidated old hulk, to violate agreements and smuggle weapons, and get owned in ways no man has been before”.

He's singing a different tune after getting slap.

I get second hand embarrassment just looking at this circus show. If you listen to what Ray says he's basically saying "no it's not an accident. China meant to give Philippines a whoopin' and a whoopin' was handed out. US isn't going to come help you, take the L.

On the other hand:
Pimp slap seems to be getting real results.

In the interest of integrity and fact finding regarding the dispute between China and the Philippines one thing that's been repeated over and over again is the constant use and repetition of the "UNCLOS ruling" which supposed to have affirmed and confirmed the legality and sovereignty of the islands currently in dispute between China and the Philippines. But in actual reading of the said ruling document from what I remembered, the International court implicitly said that its ruling of the matter was not on SOVEREIGNITY. A quick search on google on this report seems to have been scrubbed so I decided to go and search for the ruling documents on the main source itself and this is what I found:

Existence of a Dispute concerning Interpretation and Application of the Convention 153
.

The Tribunal next considered whether there is a dispute between the Parties concerning the interpretation or application of the Convention, which is the basis for the dispute settlement mechanisms of the Convention.83 In so doing, the Tribunal considered two objections set out in China’s Position Paper: first, that the Parties’ dispute is actually about sovereignty over the islands of the South China Sea and therefore not a matter concerning the Convention, and second, that the Parties’ dispute is actually about the delimitation of the maritime boundary between them and therefore excluded from dispute settlement by an exception set out in the Convention that States may activate by declaration. China activated the exception for disputes concerning sea boundary delimitations when it made a declaration in 2006. 154. With respect to the former objection, the Tribunal noted that there is a dispute between the Parties regarding sovereignty over islands, but held that the matters submitted to arbitration by the Philippines do not concern sovereignty.84 The Tribunal considered it to be expected that the Philippines and China would have disputes regarding multiple subjects, but emphasised that the Tribunal did not accept that “it follows from the existence of a dispute over sovereignty that sovereignty is also the appropriate characterisation of the claims the Philippines has submitted in these proceedings.”85 The Tribunal also emphasised that “[t]he Philippines has not asked the Tribunal to rule on sovereignty and, indeed, has expressly and repeatedly requested that the Tribunal refrain from so doing.”86 The Tribunal emphasised that it did “not see that any of the Philippines’ Submissions require an implicit determination of sovereignty.”87

Finally, the Tribunal observed that it was “fully conscious of the limits on the claims submitted to it and, to the extent that it reaches the merits of any of the Philippines’ Submissions, intends to ensure that its decision neither advances nor detracts from either Party’s claims to land sovereignty in the South China Sea.”88

I have not read the full document but I have yet to find anything on the said ruling that EXPLICITY AND IMPLICITY stated that its ruling pertains to THE SOVEREIGNTY or granting the Philippines the SOLE custody of the said islands. But when you read, listen, watch the news from around the world they all say that the 2016 tribunal ruling granted/awarded the Philippines full sovereignty over the islands. The media, supposed experts just trumpets lies after lies and expect China to be bludgeoned into submission. What a farce.

Some women, for whatever reason, love the 50 shades thing and will hate a man if he is being courteous and respectful because they psychologically have such a low self esteem that they mistake the man's civility and courtesy and respect for him being of a lower status. Similarly, this feminine thinking explains the behaviour of some of China's neighbours who spit on Chinese civility and generosity and instead repay kindness with barbarity. This is why the ancients had to be as gruesome and uncompromising in their dealings with certain barbarians for they do not respond well to magnanimity, but rather yearn for the lash.

Copium Koh at it again lmao. His attempt at damage control is so painfully obvious.
If CCG lost = It's because of their shitty training + our superior training
If CCG won = Still because of their shitty training + our superior 'self restraint'

The joke writes itself lol
Marcos gave the guy with the missing thumb a medal for losing his thumb and getting disarmed by CCG?
That's easier medal than even Abhinandan "the tea is fantastic" Varthaman, at least in Abhinandan's case he legit risked his life trying to complete the mission.

People with low self esteem and poor character will think this way, as they would mistreat others if they had the chance, however because they sit low on the totem pole themselves, they are but forced to be courteous to others. Gollum mentality.

People with good character, no matter their self esteem will recognize kindness for what it is and not treat it as weakness.
