So whats the correct view then

are the Styer trucks supplied to kenya from a European Source

Styer sounds more of Germanic Name so are they made under licence in China who then sold some to Kenya?

the BAe hawks are still used as there lead ground attack planes. slight modifications have been made and can use laser guide weapons with a laser guide pods. the F-5E and F have been increased with 15 examples from Jordan. 3 are F-5EM and can perform mid flight refueling. they still are the main strike fighter for the air force till some Chinese jet arrives later on. the remain were upgrade by a Singapore firm. Short toucan are still there used in flight training school after the candidates have graduated from the Bulldogs.

Interesting update risai. Thanks.

You say till some Chinese jet arrives later on, and you shed more light on this? Are they looking at buying the FC-1 too? What is the timing?

yes jets are comming but they havent decide if it will be the JF-17 or the FC-1. but with obama in throne they might opt for what they earlier procurement the F/A-18

You are saying Kenya has at some time considered F-18s? ... I would have thought F-16s! And if they are looking at Sudan with 24 Mig-29 SMT and Ethiopia wit Flankers, will early model F-18 be enough?
