China to sell weapons to Kenya

It looks as if China has found a new weapons market, Kenya. Is there anyone who knows what type of weapons they plan to sell?

I might be mistaken but I also thought I have read elsewhere that Kenya might be interested in the FC-1.

Not fron China. What I read recently (I will have to serach for the article) was Kenya looking to buy APCs/IFVs. They article mentioned a Western vehicle, either Piranha, Pandur or Patria.

This is the article I read and yes the potential supplier to the Kenyan army is China, however they mention Styer vehicles and APCs which I don't understand.

and on page 5 it says:

"Kenya began negotiations with China in 2005 for the purchase of 400 Styer military trucks and thirty armored personnel carriers. The deal may result in a center for maintenance and spare parts."

I did some Google search and it looks like the i have found the "styer" on parade in greece.

china gave ken the styer trucks to replace her dedicate mercedes 911 for the army. alot is still in store for the army as the new mordern wafare has be realise. the rus com with apc/ifv but were turndown .

as for the navy it will never go east its currently content in Spain and euromarine. have you seen there new vessel Jasiri. its made the entire eastern africa coast digg in there porkets to counter it

Styer is an Austrian company, not Chinese.
