But time move on. Once China master all the technology that will be the end of Taiwan and that day is getting close now. Ironically it the US policy of depriving China from high end technology will only hasten the day.

Maybe but that does not matter for now. So mentioning this is like an admission of weakness. What matter now is what US-Taiwan cooperation China is not ready to accept. After all PRC gov care so much about the relation with US and is ready to do lot of thing to appease US.

One of the clearly defined thing that will trigger non-peaceful unification is Taiwan hosting foreign military forces, which is what's at risk here.

Another one is total loss of hope for peaceful reunification in the foreseeable future, which is also something we are starting to approach.

Something may be happening. Li Hong (of the “求和” thing with KMT) who have not been seen on air for a month is back on CCTV4 and talking about Taiwan. In her show was a video about PLA conducting amphibious assault exercise:


There seem to be an unusual atmosphere in China after Tsai Ing-Wen's speech at the ROC's National Day celebration. I don't think CPC is happy about what she said, to put it mildly.

Keep your eyes open about news regarding Taiwan, this could be it.
