A new CCTV-7 show:

Interestingly, part of it showing the Y-20U doing aerial refueling with J-16. The J-16 seems to be carrying two KD-88 or YJ-83 shaped munition on one side of its wing, as shown below:
J-6 refueling.jpg

This is quite a rare picture, as this could imply that this J-16 is carrying as many as 4 or more air-to-ground precision munition/missile in an air-refueling sortie. PLAAF normally don't show something like this.

The old work horse SU-27UBK conversion fighter, and a SU-27SK or J11/J11A.

WTC would be used on the Indian front in case of hostilities, how well do these fighters match up against the IAF? Unless these are more for bomb truck and the J-20s/J-16/J-10C doing the A2A work.

What is there to be concerned about? They already have a J-20 brigade in the west as well as J-16s. I'd much rather they move the longer range stuff to NTC, which is actually short on aircraft that can attack Japan. J-10s can do everything you need in the western part of the country. J-10Cs are better than anything with IAF.

Was just curious as to where these older Flankers fit in terms of mission profile when WTC has access to better fighters that can perform both A2A and A2G.
