So will the J-11BH be any different than the J-11B in anything other than the paint scheme?

Also, is the J-11BS simply a two-seat version of the J-11B? Or is it a replacement for the Su-30's?

With less than 10 years of service in PLAAF/PLANAF, Su-30MKK/MK2 still have a long career before any replacement is needed. J11BS has got the potential for a F-15E type deep-strike role so it's armament configuration might be different from J11B, and that's about it. J11BS(H) used by PLANAF would naturally focus on anti-ship missions just like Su-30MK2, overally apart from weights & dimensions, all these variants are different but in terms of electronics and armaments they carry for specific missions assigned to them.

I'm almost sure at this stage SAC has got some further modified version of J11 on drawing boards, now that all 4 siblings of the second generation J11 clan have come out. And that's the tragedy of it...

load of BS. The title "Chinese Military Won't Accept 'Made In China' Fighters" already shows the level of reliability and professionalism. Since J-10 is made in China, except power plant. Considering J-11B is practically the same to the license kit Su-27.

seems like j-11b is not well accepted by the af.

Couldn't find it anywhere in the net. And the news just quote "intelligence" from a "western source" based in Beijing... something really fishy around here... what western source? CNN, BBC?

Plus it did cross check with other source, plus... has J-11B started flying already? If so... what powerplant was the J-11B using? The Russian's or the WS-10A?

Typical Kanwa's crap.
Manufacture and delivery of J-11Bs is getting underway as planned.
