Yes... I think we can safely ignore all these supposedly sales of Su-35 fighters to China in future, unless it was officialised by both the Chinese and the Russian site.

I mean... the Russian are not stupid... if the Chinese is already not showing much interest in the aircraft, wouldn't the Chinese be even more uninterested if the Russian are to take away things here and there... like no PESA, no avionic, no whatever... only bare airframe? If that is true, then are the Russian actually attempting to make a sales or try to push a potential customer away? Or are the Russian finding their pride hurt that the Chinese are not buying their aircraft that they came up with all these restrictions to make themselves look good (which is silly by the way) and so... I don't think any of those actually happen because both the Russian and the Chinese are not stupid and it is mere common sense.

The article is confusing. It say 技术 (technology). Likely means that there is no transfer of technology which is reasonable.

It also say only "irons", but I find it hard to believe that they would just sell the hardware without software. So it probably means that selling the system(hardware + software) without transfer of technology.

It's my bad....

I overreact to this common sense news.

Because it's a PSed Su-33 with Admiral Flota Sovyetskogo Soyuza Kuznetsov's ski-jump PSed to that of Liaoning's.

Either I simply don't understand this statement as a joke or I'm completely wrong with my eyes in identifying a J-15:
- It has all the typical J-15 items like the new J-11B-style wingtip pylons
- it has the no. 554 as well as the Black Shark logo of the same well known prototype on its tail an
- it has not the RuNavy thre tone colour scheme
... overall I think to ps a Russian Su-33 to this image is much more difficult - and as such unrealistic - than simply to accept this as a very nice shot of J-15 '554' !

Still, why is the 554 so dirty? Is that dirt or rust on the plane? It's hard for me to believe that PLAN let their plane get that dirty...

I think that is really no argument. Just take it zhis way: the PLANAF so far has only a handfull of J-15 flying off the carrier, as such - as noted by SARguy at the CDF:

If the group photo with Comrade Xi was any indication, we may be looking at a minimum of 36 pilots sharing six J-15 prototypes. Those birds have to flying from dawn to dusk just to keep up with training schedules.
