Remember Chinese got tech from MiG-21 and developed it into dozens of variants. Would Flankers repeat the history?

Absolutely Yes, and the Flanker is a very adaptable platform, it is everything you could ask for in a fourth gen fighter, small enough to have a very high g tolerance and outstanding manueverability, lots of power for a high thrust to weight ratio, large enough to carry anything in the way of ordnance or avionics that you could desire, all wrapped up in an aerodynamically superior, very fine handling aircraft, with LOTS of control authority, it is the cats meow as far as fourth gens and takes the F-15 style planform to its natural next step, able to operate single pilot, flexible enough to include a WSO if you are so inclined. If you really want to take A2A to the next level add on canards or OVT, whats not to like, and thats why AFB is the number one Flanker Fanboy in the US, and proud of it, its an honest, hard, working, sweet aeroplane, I'd like one for my backyard? And let me add another, I'll take the J-15S just for kicks, but the T-50 will take the Flanker platform up a couple of extra notches! AFB

Wow, you pointed out all the advantages of the Flankers. Will it last another half century in China's aviation arsenal?

看到14所的AESA机载火控雷达天线的结构图了

跟607的很不一样

607的天线方案类似毛子的。14所类似老米

不是20的。应该是16的

could this blogger correct after all.
607 institue AESA radar resemble phozotron, since there is cooperation between China abd russia on AESA development.possibility that 607 (shuzhou) adapt phozotron "stick" solution?
while no. 14 (nanjing) adapt vivaldi slotted array configuration for max. T/R MMIC density.

Russian designers and aerospace firms do cooperate with China and that is an official source, like Saturn or Sukhoi that i quoted, they are no bloggers speculating but official sources.

Sukhoi, Saturn and Phazotron still work with their Chinese collegues specially in projects like Su-27/J-11

The case in question is whether that blogger is correct that 14th institute adopts the American style AESA array, which will be used on J16.
