A news have appared on abot the ritiringmant fo the eraly su 27. Can sombody confirm this?

unless these particular flankers were very heavily used, or unless Russian aircraft have much shorter life spans than Chinese aircraft.
Considering all those first generation J-8Is still in service with the 24th Division. When was the first J-8Is ever came out?

I can't imagine they are still flying those J-8I. How old are they? Are they still air worthy? I really don't hope they'll be the next to gain the next-name "flying coffin".
