According to our dearest Chinese RORO tracker, Tom "Show-Us-The-Boat-Or-Your-Boat-Is-Sunk" Shugart, China is constructing 24 patrols vessels for the CCG simultaneously at Wuhu Shipyard.
All these patrol vessels are around 60 meters long and 7-8 meters wide.

Is there a reason these new 054A-mod 3000-ton cutters retain their navy replenishment gantry? Comments on Weibo are saying that CCG is planning to build replenishment vessels.

They will need on the way replenishment if these ships are to be sent to patrol the North Pole shipping lane/ sea route. They already sent one such patrol (jointly with Russia) just a few weeks ago.
At least 14 new patrol vessels/cutters for the CCG, location unknown. Posted by @太湖军I名 on Weibo.
Look like the ones Shugart posted of Wuhu?

It seems like these are new flagships for municipal CCG bureaus. My disappointment is immense.

These boats are 500 tonners or less, mainly assigned for for port, river and inshore patrols and law enforcements.
