Sure, I won't reply after this comment. But if I ever have complained about your off topic comments, I always would have the decency to stop replying first.FuManChu said:ff
KYli, I have already told Mace I am not going to talk about off-topic comments. Please have the decency to stop talking about issues not related to the series. You have complained in the past when I made O/T comments in threads - you're now doing exactly the same. At least I have the decency to stop.
I'll say what I said to Mace, if you want to talk about Hong Kong that much go start a thread on it.
I have no interests to talk about HK, but you were making statements and comments that I consider false. Since I am HKer, I sure would respond.
I still am citizen of HK, and had lived in HK for many years. Are you asking me to read a HK political history book? When I had lived and educated in HK for great many years.:roll:My last comment to you is that there was a lot of campaigning for greater rights before 1997. If you get a book on HK political history you will be able to read all about it.
Panasia,
Thanks FuManChu! It's quite common for people to label movements "pro-West" when the West has nothing to do with it.
You are quite right to say that I shouldn't label these people as Pro-West, but either pro-democratic, pro-Beijing, pro-central government or pro-whatever would be acceptable. If generalization should not be used, I think it should apply to all.
