I know that Chinese TELs are made to be off-road monsters. The Test track at the Tai'an Special Vehicle Factory and Wanshan Factory point to intensive tests for TELs. But are there any pictures of TELs actually hitting the dirt, hiding under forest canopies or emerging out of Caves? (I've seen TELs running in underground tunnels in a documentary).

During the 90th anniversary parade, they showed the DF-26 and DF-31AG travel across some dirt -

(3:40 onwards). Have never seen a Chinese ICBM hiding under forest canopy.

Hmm. It is very curious. China has 2 million hectares of forest cover and mountaneous terrain which could help with its ICBM deployment. So much so that I'd term the Chinese imploring Rail based ICBM as an unnecessary expense. Thanks for the video link.
I remember reading from a forum about how some Chinese trekkers found missile silos in a forest clearing east on Chongqing. (could be true or false.) My memory and lack of knowledge about Chinese places betrays me.

2 million hectares require 800 warhead to burn up.

Currently USA and the Russian Federation has 1500 deployed ICBM and SLBM warhead each.

After 2021 they can increase this number several fold.

Correction. Not 2 million hectares, but over 200 million hectares of forest cover (over 2 million Km2) or roughly 22-23% of total land

I thought I'll drop a few more YT videos. Here are training footage involving the older DF-31A (In winter conditions). The new DF-31AG TEL should have a far easier time navigating that terrain. In the DF-21D video, you'll see the TEL driven with the cover of trees.

quick question: why China is parallel developing two mobile icbm (df-31ag and df-41) even if it has a very tiny nuclear arsenal (about 300 warheads in total)?
