Why is that this article´s title refers "manchu" ? china is not manchuria. In fact, manchuria doesnt even exists anymore...
"Free Beacon" is often considered a fake news site. It is VERY conservative and would never speak of China or even Chinese in nice terms. So them using the term "Manchu" is to be expected. I would also not put a lot of value in what they publish unless you can verify it with a much more truthful sources.

I stopped reading after noticing the word "Manchu". You would too, if you find an article referring to the modern southern USA as the "Confederate States".

Both of those instances are not worth our time.

I read on, not at all bothered by the phrase "Manchu," because I took it as a description of geography and not typical neocon claptrap to manufacture a war with China.

If so, why is that the vast majority of the news articles regarding chinese ICBM´s in this thread come from freebeacon ?

I went back about 3 pages and I see only one link to Free Beacon. While its not an exhaustive survey, I don't think it accounts for a "vast majority."

That being said, sensationalist sites do a remarkably good job of making things sound bigger, more powerful or more ominous than they actually are. I would hope most of the people posting here look for more truthful and accurate sites. Although, I know discerning what is accurate and what is not is much harder to do if a given site is not in one's native language.

Apparently so. Bueller did the favor of translating the DF-41 text, which reveals that it can carry either 1 x 5.5 megaton (1600 kg), 6 x 650 kiloton (250 kg), or 10 x 150 kiloton (165 kg) warheads.
It has been stated that the 5.5 megatons and 650kiloton warheads are "thermonuclear," while the 150 kiloton ones are probably not.
