Btw, small commentary on supersonic/supercruise, what it means and why we see what we see.

“Super cruise”, when 5th gen was first imagined 45 years ago(before stealth), meant different thing. It wasn't just "fast cruise" spec, it was full supersonic BVR capability.
It turned into "logistic" one only when ATF failed to achieve it(admittedly, not least because of stealth).
But still you can see it in how many other 4.5/5th gen fighters (not all of course, poor ones didn't try) struggle to get there.
Because you can fool public (f-35ying super cruise), but fighter design houses remember very well what was meant.

No need to look for mach 25 capability when current RAMs already struggle. Let everyone first get something that was meant to come since late 1970s.

WS-13/WS-21 most probably powered by Shenyang J-XDS

CAC prototype powered by WS-10C confirmed by all top source.

plz don't take Russian serious.

I don't think the J-XDS will be powered by WS-13/21. It looks at least almost as large as the J-11BS that accompanied it during her first flight.

Two WS-10/15 engines is the more logical choice.
