Against those who judged J36 as ugly, I think it is beautiful. It looks like off-spring of a unicon fish and trumpet fish. Just a personal taste.

The out of this world look is simply futuristic.

Ths absence of chase plane possibly indicate that the earlier flight was going well. Pitot tube was there as expected, and well as the extension of the landing gears. Still very early stage of testings. The next 5-6 years will test your patience and expectation.
Yes, it's just futuristic looking, not in a bad way like cybertruck either. It's more aquatic shaped than anything from any other country or from Shenyang.

It makes sense because most people believe it's not really a pure fighter like J-50. In terms of cold war aircraft, it's more like a F-111.
If you think the J-36 looks ugly, have you seen the PLA next generation main battle tank?
How does that one even remotely look bad? The build quality is so clean, it looks like something printed out of a dark age of technology STC.

It does looked fake, after burner flame look static, video was too short, and lastly the extension of the wing tip flaps in "Air Brake" configuration is normally applies in landing, not take off (check A-6 Intruder landing with air brake).

I think that video is indeed fake - that guy has several "video-like" clips that are in fact just "moved" images, but if that image is fake is still not known.

Orca confirmed it is CG. Rumor has it the original artist was trying to bait you.

I think it would be useful if images that have an index of suspicion of being fake, are actively avoided to be posted on places like twitter or facebook -- i.e.: to only discuss and post them here on SDF first to confirm their veracity.

Posting unconfirmed imagery onto places like twitter, even if they are done with acknowledgement that they "may not be legit" and even if it is done with the goal to try and clarify if they're real or not, will inevitably still end up damaging credibility because people on twitter cannot read and don't understand context.
