Exact sure very good site and nice presentation in more but it is a table lack combat support ships, important, ranked by tonnage gives a better idea but don' t ignores armaments of ships and Navies capabilities, good sailors etc...

Exist a classification

USN is special especially for the number of CVN, and Naval Aviation have about 1000 + combat/ASW aircrafts ! only one Navy could deserve this ranking Soviet/VMF for the number but no for her CV because they were in fact a heavy cruiser with interceptors and also VMF don' t have big AA ships.

Second rank navies get all types of ships to complete all missions.

Asmar before the naval plans announced by Bachelet to the Chilean Navy

rZ23KMD.jpg

(defensa.com) The announcement of President Michelle Bachelet allocation of $ 230 million to the Navy mainly for shipbuilding, has specific effects in Asmar. First, continuing with the start-tier 4th quarter, the construction of the IPO. Notably, during Exponaval two of them were visible in the port of Valparaiso, excelling the last delivered, the OPV-83 "Sailor Fuentealba" copy which incorporates improvements over the previous two, cataloged Winter Class to operate in the southern seas Chile and Oto Melara equipped with 76mm cannon and legacy electronic components (like the barrel) of a Missile Type 148 derecognised.

Asmar has also received funds to equip a floating dock that allows you to receive ships of type Super Postpanamax. To do this, the Navy will provide $ 75 million and 75 million will come from a loan that will take the shipyard. Finally, it remains to be seen how the construction of the new icebreaker will be defined. In Exponaval rumor that type and shipyard were already selected, however the possible involvement of Asmar was also speculated.
