Actually until now, the chinese official never say that the tomb was Cao Cao's tomb... they said that it might be Cao Cao's. The tomb was already being raided before the official finding, so many of the artifacts were gone. So they could not really be 100% sure.

lol to me it's great news
i used to dislike cao cao cuz like in the novel, he's portrayed as a villian and things
but if we think again and be realistic, in the times of chaos, there's no real good or bad (except genocides and atrocities and war crimes and tyranny leading to innocent loss of life), and to eliminate your political oppositions is normal, esp in a time of unrest.
and also if we look at the factual aspects, he's a military leader, a capable administrator, excellent politician, and beautiful poet. he is also a strict enforcer of law, including towards his subordinates and not allowing them to exploit the people. (the famous example being him and cutting his own hair)
definitely like lu, he's a man of beauty and talent. sexy. (im not gay, but im referring how a man of so many talents is definitely inspiring)

and in his times, he's one of the many legends in this cruel but romantic era. him and others represents one of the beauties of china

so i think it's very interesting for us the descendants to greet our ancestors and the king of wei, to the world of 2009. and i've heard they can soon reconstruct what he looks like, and i think that'll be awesome

could be fake, could be scholars trying to make him look bad.
but its just funny though lol...all those efforts finally succumbed to modern tomb raiders

In the Cao Cao's hometown, there are a large number of tomb group, therefore, cause the rumors of Cao Cao's 72 tombs, but experts confirm that those are other dynasties - the Northern and Southern Dynasties (南北朝)- the Northern Wei Dynasty(北魏) tombs group, not Cao Cao's tomb group.

Seemed like many people (many are experts in the field) are questioning the authenticity of the tomb found. (See reference)

And I actually believe what these people said as the proof found simply is not convincing and after so many raids done to the tomb, the really is no real proof as to which tomb is which. Until decent scientific proof was provided, we could only say that the tomb found is suspected to by Cao Cao's and not definitely Cao Cao's.

I saw these source two days ago.
Cao Cao's tomb on the discovery, controversy is normal, depending on whom you believe? Who are the people who participated in archaeological excavations, for their hard work, digging a large number of palm, including their previous discovered in Cao Cao's hometown tomb group , will explore artifacts be edited out, this is serious work, they have been working for serval ten years,
We are not professionals, we should listen to the academic history of the controversy, not to be opinionated.

I know I am going to get it again... but I just have to say it...

Lets put hard work aside, sometime not always a good result would come out even after alot of hardwork is put in it. And lets not also jump into conclusion that this is the real one that we are speaking of. We need to wait for further proof (maybe scientific proves).

Sorry for me being very skeptical... Unless more evidence supported by scientific proves, it really is not very convincing that the tomb belong to Cao Cao. (Well... this is just my thoughts and I don't want to hinder what others wanted to believe in).

after wei kingdom ,the next wei to appear was in north and south dynasty.or Northern wei.
it is likely the tomb did belong to cao cao, notice the jade, jade usually identified with royalty or nobility.

We are not professionals, why should someone else's hard work devoid of any merit? To put it really easy, since we do not have the opportunity to visit the gate of those archaeologists to listen to their detailed report, to be honest, even if talking face to face with them, we may not be understand that, in a nutshell, we listen to professional discussions, not to be opinionated.

Yes. I agree that we must listen to professionals. But those that post suspicion to the finds are also professionals in their own rights, one are even a vice director from Renmin University. So like I suggest, we wait and see if more convincing evidence came up... and I am not going to comment on hardwork.

As mentioned in one of the source that I have... I will only believe the find when the DNA matched with the decendants of Cao Cao. To me... scientific proof is the most important.
