I will first unite Russia, China and Iran. Then I will unite China with the Gulf States.

Then, big brain moment, I will make Saudis and Iranians to ease their hostile relationship.

Then with a masterstroke, I will allow BRICS to expand on Middle East and expand usage of non-Western currencies.

Maybe, Jake Sullivan has been the real Chinese spy all along. Maybe he deserves to win a Nobel Peace award

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I have a question.

How could the Gulf countries unite with China when China itself plays such a modest and timid role in the Red Sea crisis led by the Houthis?

There's a whole article about this:

The Red Sea crisis does not only affect China itself, which is being harmed by the increase in freight and still needs to go around Africa to deliver its products to Europe, increasing delivery time by 10 days. It also affects Gulf countries that deliver oil to Europe. It affects Egypt (the newest member of the BRICS) which is suffering from the decrease in maritime traffic in the canal.

No, it doesn't affect China. First, Houthis have pledged not to attack Chinese shipping. Second, and more importantly, this blockade affects all shippers, which means Chinese shipping's competitive position isn't damaged. What it means is Europeans pay more.

No, it affects Europeans who have to pay more. Which they seem happy to do to advance US interests, so let them pay more here. Paying more is their lot in life.
