Bhutan: Dangerous liaison

Winter is near. No construction can commence upon spring arrives. We won't know who blinked first in this episode until next March/April.
The entire world reads Indian forums and realises the level of delusion. That's the real sad part. Look at the numbers. Every single one. India is as backward as Africa was decades ago.
On the topic of this issue. The clear long term winner is China. If CPC were a petty bunch or see it necessary, they will act similarly in Kashmir and elsewhere. India stupidly set up a precedence and didn't have the brains and the balls to follow through. Now they've withdrawn troops and it is quite likely China will recommence the road building. Whether or not India goes back and escalates the conflict with a Chinese response, we will have to wait and see. For the time being, China only lost in the minds of Indians. We all know China will continue building the road with or without Indian approval. Why would they need Indian approval. China is cautious about the USA and nobody else.
How pathetic were the Indians. Can't act with resolve. Was informed politely twice about road building before commencement and they couldn't even respond diplomatically to even voice their objections and give a peaceful resolution a chance. They had to send troops in to stop builders without any warning. Okay next time I hope they bring more gear. Because there will be a next time. Whether or not China backs down from road building remains to be seen. In the meantime, we suggest India focus on feeding its "Dalit" population and building more toilets.
CPC should just act and not tell next time. Why bother. India is trying to improve the infrastructure on their side and China doesn't object at all. Only reacts by doing the same. Now that they've touched on an area disputed with Bhutan, India finds a reason to block it. So pathetic. China should just go around and build up another part. Chinese economy and military spending FAR outstrips India's so if an arms race is something they are suggesting, they will lose very badly. A couple of handfuls of short range Brahmos is about the closest thing to being "scary". Meanwhile India loses Su-30MKIs without anyone even shooting at them.
Best not to engage in this kind of tit for tat, who won this and that game the Indians love to play. When they do comment here, just respond in kind and let them know to sod off. Even if they've convinced themselves they're the greatest and humiliated China, let them believe it. They really need every bit of ego boost they can grab onto. Meanwhile China works at it without the need to pat itself on the back constantly and come up with their own "Jai Hind" equivalent. Same stupidity as the Allahu Ackbar idiots. They're the same level and equally dangerous to the civilised world.
They wanted China to stop building the roads there. China has stopped. For now. They will either build it later or build elsewhere in an area not disputed with Bhutan. India powerless to stop that. India indeed won if the objective was to pause the construction. But that's not really the important objective here. It is to hinder China's growing influence in Asia. That is going to happen with or without this road. While one small stretch has been delayed (to avoid conflict and possibly losing NK or SCS to the USA), all other main pieces of infrastructure are going ahead. AIIB has happened. India should go in peace and celebrate this glorious victory over the evil communists. What a humiliating defeat the Chinese suffered at the hands of those brave resilient Indians. Jai Hind. Should build another toilet to celebrate.

It is India's wet dream to win against China, the country that never loses, even to the USA, even in 1950 as a country that couldn't produce a truck against the newly minted superpower. If China can use its navy to take and militarize islands in the SCS with the US in opposition, do you think there is a chance that is could lose to the likes of India? LOL
Stop being delusional and look at the facts:
On August 28th, India came out and announced to the world that the stand off was over; that both sides were withdrawing troops. Only India said this, no joint statement on any terms. China never announced the end to anything; or that they would do anything. They just said fine, good that India has withdrawn, but China will never back off and China will continue to patrol. China never said they would withdraw troops, lower troop levels (though they probably would since India's GONE), stop construction, or do anything. The only thing that China did was move their troops across the country ready to teach India another lesson after over 50 years. India recognized they were about to get 1962 2017 edition so they unilaterally withdrew and started telling the world it's over and an agreement had been reached LOL What agreement? China didn't agree to any terms at all. Why is there no joint statement? Did China agree to stop building? LOL India cannot say anything because they do not know, because China agreed to nothing and India withdrew by themselves to avoid getting another beat down.
Then India had to spin it to media like some kind of agreement was reached so people like you don't kill yourselves in shame. And now you're here with your delusions talking about how India "won." Look at India and look at China. India can never win against China, ever.

The road in question has been there for many years already. You can see it on google maps images from at least 10 years ago. The construction work that was paused due to Indian incursion was to upgrade the road by paving it, instead of gravel. So Indian complaints of changes to facts on the ground is pretty baseless. Just because India doesn't have any decent roads, they don't want anyone else to have any roads either.
I hope you don't try to take over the toilets in my house just because you don't own one.
