I have a question regarding the area of Guiyu. As one of the largest e-waste recycling sites in the world, has the government been taking more measures to control pollution? I remember many news stories about open burning (releasing toxic dioxins) as well as ground water and soil being contaminated with lead, cadmium, etc.
Why is China/CCP is referred to as 鳖 by netizens？
Because CCP is seen as country bumpkins, or 土鳖, since its inception. 鳖 is a shortened version for the name.
土鳖 is actually an insect used for TCM, not a soft shelled turtle.
Always wanted to ask but could we have a thread for just Chinese CPU, GPU, and any other PC parts? The semiconductor thread is nice and all but I kinda want something more focused on domestic PC parts and what's upcoming kinda like the GPU that Huawei is working on and such.

When will China produce PC CPUs & GPUs that we can buy instead of Intel, AMD, and Nvidia?

First thing that.jumps out to me is they don't mention size or compute capacity of the data center anywhere. If I only have 1 data center but it contains 1 TWh of compute and you have 5000 center each with 50 MWh of compute, who's ahead?
