Yan Ning and others are just trying to future proof the job security of structural biologists. Unfortunately for them, AI will eventually be able to do everything and anything. It's just a matter of time.
Chinese scientists make ‘impossible’ AI breakthrough in drug research
•The team says its machine learning model can accurately predict the complex molecular changes that determine a drug’s effectiveness
•Structural biologists, including China’s Yan Ning, regard the task as beyond the capabilities of artificial intelligence
Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence is the institute that is working on Wu Dao 2.0, which was mentioned in this forum before by some users as China's ChatGPT-4 equivalent or better.Interesting. Anyone got info about the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence?
I would not say that one model is better than the other one because frankly I did not use WuDao 2.0 at all. However, WD 2.0 became multimodal before the GPT-4 so it is the reverse actually - GPT-4 is OpenAI's answer to WuDao 2.0.Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence is the institute that is working on Wu Dao 2.0, which was mentioned in this forum before by some users as China's ChatGPT-4 equivalent or better.
Well, not according to this guy. He's quite dismissive of anything coming out of China. No chance for Chinese tech giants to catch up lol. Do you know why and where he's getting this opinion from?I would not say that one model is better than the other one because frankly I did not use WuDao 2.0 at all.
