Actually they do make aircrafts not high tech but they do and they have actually launched their own sat.

Yes the Iranians have the HESA Saeqeh, a plane somewhat akin to a twin-tailed F-5 but the airforce is not yet self-sufficient. They still have a long way to go to produce planes capable of replacing the aging F-14/F-5s in the inventories but they are getting there.

While it is true that Iranians have space capabilities so far they have only launched two satellites into orbit. I still don't understand why people still believe that this gives Iran instant ASAT capabilities.
