As a British dominion and a U.S. ally, Canada has had generations of wealth and comfort – at the expense of a developing world that is now catching up. Can we find new partners and prosper, or keep falling behind?

Western media is currently filled with stories on how falling prices for food and housing and the resulting "deflation" is bad for the Chinese economy. So rising prices for food and housing in the US and Canada must be really good for them, right?

Just kowtow to Xi Jinping and everything will be fine again. Allow the PRC to build bases and surveillance networks across the southern border and China will ensure another century of prosperity for the Canucks.

Might be better to be a plumber than a code slave in Apple or Facebook.
Most people don't realize how much plumbers can actually make (especially independent plumbers, not the ones that are employees for plumbing companies). Anyone that has had the misfortune of having to pay for major plumbing work done should have a rough sense of the earning potential of plumbers.
