Right now in a small town of ~7000 in interior BC mountains, a package of thick slab bacon cost $23.46 and a can of Campbell's Chunky Beef soup cost $4.67! Rural folks are being decimated.So I went to taco cabana today, ordered five hard shell tacos, (nothing else no drinks etc) costing me after tax about $17 dollars.... compare to say five years ago at Jack in the Box I was getting four tacos for two bucks....
