@emblem21 bro China South to North Water transfer project seems a brilliant idea now After being ridiculed as a White elephant Vanity Project...lol That's an investment worth every penny. ;)
Absolutely true but can you see the USA do something similar considering how quickly the USA cancelled that north south pipeline in regards to oil and gas from Canada. Think of all those projects that could have helped the USA in its time of need being canceled by the woke crowd due to lack for foresight and sheer arrogance

They said the same thing about high speed rail if im not mistaken. Ooh those lines will never be profitable while china be like dun care the people need this.

South North Water Project will address a host of issues, among them further increasing that great northern green belt - sandstorms in Beijing would become fewer annually; but don't expect 'murikkkan idiots to understand this or apply some of the wisdom to their country, they can't think beyond the next election cycle, or if cashflow analysis doesn't add up, its's a vanity project, never mind the endless externalities and benefits.

Meanwhile, their infrastructure is at Ukrainian levels... LOL.
