Lead poisoning and resulting psychosis has been theorised to cause the fall of Rome and account for the brutality of the colosseum, not dissimilar to the rise in violence in the current US.

Prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympics, they were packing up all the homeless and bussing them out to as far as 100km from the city outskirts.

It isn't just lead that can chemically and medically poison your brain and your minds. There are also other things that are common in our environment that does.

Let's begin with the obvious: COVID. Unfortunately I also suspect that Putin might have gotten a whiff of this too to affect his judgement.

Brain inflammation caused by excess Omega 6 and unsaturated fats. Here is your daily dose of fast and fried food.

Micro or nano particles of plastic from plastic bags, containers, and dinnerware.

Brain inflammation caused by excess carbs and sugars.

Brain damage caused by pollution and smoking.

Brain damage caused by drugs.

I'm watching Biden's State of the Union speech right now. He said that companies are "choosing" to manufacture in the US more than ever. Yeah because the US is going penalize companies that produce overseas...
I would not even trust him. White house already blatantly lied on their official Twitter about outgrowing China in 2021.

Cat food has doubled in price... a year ago a single can of wet food went for 80 cents each, now its $1.69 and I recall for the Purina dry food 11lb bag was $19.99 on amazon and now its $41.78....

Many of the routine cat food items I purchase on amazon are now not even available, some of which are permanently out of stock... and our local Kroger/ CVS etc cat food section is near empty, and even Petco and specialized pet stores the cat food section no longer have what was typically offered, much less at the price range that it used to be not that long while back.

I didn't see all of Biden State of the Union speech but saw most of it and I only recall him mentioning China once as in "China and others countries" as foreign competitors. No warning to China that it'll get the same treatment in his fiery remarks against Russia if it invades Taiwan. I'm watching The View which is a news topic show from a woman's perspective. They have a Republican from FOX News as a guest co-host complaining how come Biden didn't mention China more? She goes on a tirade attacking China's trade. Then one of the other hosts interjects that's because US corporations are outsourcing to China and that shuts her down. Over at FOX News they don't like the truth being told that some things are actually America's own fault and they're just not use to their narrative being countered with facts. That's why this Republican shut up so quickly. She's not use to it so she wasn't prepared. Trump's trade war is why inflation in the US is at its worst since WWII. Republicans wants to end trade with China and it'll be worse for the US if that happens because that's how their own greed set it up against themselves. You look at the West's sanctions against Russia. The tactic is to deny Russian oligarchs the luxuries of the West they're use to which will then pressure Putin to ending the war. That only works if you get the Russian rich a taste of Western luxuries to then deny them. When it comes to China they target trade but the things is actual Chinese companies don't really have much business in the US where the profits from their products sold don't go back to China because the US has made it hard for them to do business in the US. All the trade they think is Chinese is actually US corporations outsourcing to China so who loses more? China not getting the pennies for labor US corporations exploit or the US who has no product to sell? Just more inflation on top of more inflation because US corporations have to adjust to the new and permanent reality. The Republicans will do nothing to stop the trade with China they're supposed against and blame China instead to cover-up how they have all the power to stop trade with China and yet they do nothing. It's funny how anti-Asian violence in the US was has been discussed in some threads and the notorious suspects are frustrated they're getting the blame and trying point the finger at black people. Thing is the COVID-19 origins isn't the real reason why these attacks are happening. It's the excuse. It's being used by those who have have been holding back their racist frustrations and they think COVID-19 gives them the green light to express them. So who created the atmosphere of anti-Asian hate as intended in the first place? African-Americans aren't the ones in power...

Instead of attacking the Chinese maybe they should take a leaf out of their own block and ponder why their system of governance and economy has created so many China shills who outsource jobs at the expense of their own country.
