American Economics Thread

The American trailer trash SleepyStudent gets more and more unhinged with time. He is like Murica itself - scared and in terminal decline, panicking as he sees the dismantlement of global white supremacy which is the lifeblood for LBHs like him. Therefore, he starts lashing out irrationally more and more.
That fella represents some of the worst elements that's becoming representative of America these days. That person is just like that American Karen who for some inexplicable reasons decided to berate and verbally abuse her fellow Americans of Brazilian heritage as terrorists and homophobic rants with righteous abandonment.

For me, the current American political, social, and economic climate is metaphorically represented by that unfortunate American person. Arrogance is construed as confidence; stupidity as wisdom, selfishness as a virtue, individualism at the expense of family, community, and country equals insecurity and growing instability.

Taxes rises with inflation indeed...

You would need to be making $150000 to be at salary of $45000 in early 90s.... but as % of net income you are paying much higher ratio of taxes at 150k vs 45k... So even if your real wage managed to stay stagnant (by increasing from 45k to 150k ) you are still getting shafted on the extra taxes

Basically with inflation you get screwed, and if you manage to keep up the tax man screws you again.

This is why America and the west will lose their declared economic war against China. Every Chinese company that is sanctioned will lead to an increase in prices for consumers in the west. Enjoy paying $1000 for your iPhone? How about $2000?

Anglos can talk shit about China on twitter but when their bills and cost of living start rising with a diminishing income, they'll quickly direct their anger towards their own regimes.

No, they will blame China for it. We saw it recently with food inflation, people were blaming China for it because they were buying food from America and stockpiling it.
