Anglos can talk shit about China on twitter but when their bills and cost of living start rising with a diminishing income, they'll quickly direct their anger towards their own regimes.
Just see China's record export numbers...

The only people delusional enough to believe that they are going to "punish" China, are Washington D.C. idiots and braindead redditors

I find this economic talk enlightening and informative for the simple fact that the speaker and author of the book titled "Rentier Economy" inadvertently without knowing that much of what he's advocating for his government to do (U.K.) is what the Chinese government has done. It can essentially be argued that the recent developments in Chinese economic planning i.e. crackdown on their giant tech companies, the tutoring industry, and the collapse of Evergrande...

Perhaps, some of you here will have a different take on this and I'll be glad to know your thoughts and opinions on this topic. Do take the time to watch the video.

I was reading a comment to an article about that report that if Trumps trade war didn't happen, China would've actually bought more from the US if relations were normal where a Trump supporter thinks Trump was right because why would Biden continue his tariffs on China if they were bad for the US? I had to laugh at the naivete because it's called saving face. You know the thing they ridicule Asians for doing but apparently nothing wrong with it when they do it. To not continue them would be admitting the US was wrong and they need China. They already lie to themselves that the US needs no one while the world needs the US. At least over half of the deaths in the US because of COVID-19 are said to have been preventable and are a result of COVID-19 politics. What it says is Americans are not ones that think reasonably.

Also: "We can just print dollars and buy whatever we want, China can't do anything against the US" lol

Would be interesting to see what his next iteration (in about a week or so) will say about this new development
Are we sure @sleepystudent is not that Indian Harvard graduate economics professor that made the ridiculous pronouncements back in Nov. 2012 that by 2020 India would have surpassed China and would compete with the U.S. for economic dominance?

If China actually bought more from the US --- natural gas, oil, corn, soybean and everything --- it would only fan the flames of shortages and inflation in the US.
