Highly doubtful since one is already launched and well along out fitting and the second is well along being built both in France and Russia. IMHO, there will definitely be two.

The second two are still questionable...but if Russia wants the advantage of that type of shipbuilding, they will build them.

Well, that's why you buy two, with the option for two more, you negotiate a price up front, and if you "pick up" the option, it gives a basis for working out a favorable option for both parties....and the processes are still in place and streamlined. Real simple

Very nice! In the 1st video, there between 1:48 and 2:02, in 14 seconds, they launch three birds. Very nice indeed. Three birds launched in 14 seconds.

By the time they start building the second pair, if they do, these might have been significantly modified. By then the Russian have had time to absorb the thinking behind the Mistral concept and they have had time to take account of the diplomatic and technological changes of the last ten or twelve years.
