Brazilian designed and made UAV FT-200 by FT Sistemas


The FT-200 is a product designed to be used in typical applications of medium altitude and medium range, made by regiments, brigades or divisions. Typical applications include also the search, identification and determination of Artillery targets position, as well as damage assessment, as well as the surveillance and monitoring large areas. The system operation is performed by ground station versatile and may be mobile or Shelters installed in fixed installations.

In the Private Sector is ideal for operations in certain regions, providing aerial survey services from a known base. With its range of up to 100 nautical miles, in agricultural regions, for example, can give aerial survey services coverage from a fixed base to over 10 million hectares.

Snecma Mexico is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Snecma located in Querétaro, 220 kilometers northwest of Mexico City, in an aerospace industrial park next to the Querétaro international airport. Spanning some 12,000 square meters (129,600 sq ft), the plant is dedicated to the manufacture of parts for CFM56-7B engines.

Snecma Mexico shares this site with fellow Group company Messier-Dowty. The Messier-Dowty Mexico plant spans some 24,000 square meters (259,200 sq ft) and makes primary parts for landing gear on Airbus A320 and A330 and Boeing 737 jetliners.

Boeing is considering installing an aircraft parts manufacturing plant that would employ a thousand people in Chihuahua. Friday the state governor Cesar Duarte said he met with executives of the aerospace company to present the opportunities and advantages offered by the aeronautical cluster installed in the state.

According to the state governor, if negotiations are specified, the new Boeing plant would be installed in Ciudad Juarez and expand the portfolio of parts manufactured in the state aircraft manufacturer partners including wire harnesses, fiber optics are and insulation material.

The aerospace industry in Mexico recorded growth rates of 15% per year and Chihuahua is one of the main entities in the sector with 25 companies located in the state, which generate 11 000 jobs, and posted to your nonjunto annual exports estimated at 750 million dollars.
