The CICARE SVH-4 Simulator is basically a 7B model attached to an adjustable ground platform. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has approved this device for the first 10 hours of flight training for the US Helicopter Pilot Course, according to Raquel Oreste, commercial director of Cicaré. The SVH-4 offers the Student-Pilot, a helicopter with numerous benefits during the initial stage of its course.

CICARE SVH 4 - Helicopter Trainer
"It makes it easier for the student because he does not have the stress of the instructor or the stress of flying in a single helicopter," Oreste said during an interview with AIN-Online. "In the first stage, the Simulator is tied to a platform on the ground. You can not move to any side, only up and down or rotate on its own axis. This is until the student manages to control the collective pitch and the pedals ", which usually requires about two hours of Simulator. From that moment, "the platform can be released and begin to experience lateral displacements with the cyclic control. He is very friendly and takes away the initial fear of a person starting from scratch. "
Subsidiary in the United States
Deaga USA is a subsidiary of DEA General Aviation Holdings, a listed $ 1 billion Chinese company and includes engine manufacturers Hirth, Mistral and the airline XtremeAir. DEA has the distribution of Cicaré helicopters in China, Southeast Asia and North America. Chinese customers have already placed orders for 48 units of the SVH-4 Simulator, and deliveries must begin from Arizona within the next few months, the company said. The price is estimated to be approximately $ 150,000 each, and financing and leasing options are likely to be available very soon, a spokesman for Deaga USA said.
The company noted that the SVH-4 has an appeal beyond direct flight training, even for fixed-wing pilots who simply wanted to experience the feeling of flying a helicopter in a relatively risk-free environment and as high-end entertainment.

The founder of Cicaré Helicópteros, Don Augusto "Pirincho" Cicaré, also makes its first appearance in Heli-Expo in more than 20 years. A self-taught engineer and pilot, Cicaré built and flew his first helicopter, the CH-1, in 1958. It was the first helicopter to be built in South America

Factory Projected to Manufacture Brazilian Fighter Jet Parts Still Far From Becoming a Reality

Despite having been announced to the public four years ago, the factory that was supposed to produce fuselage parts for Brazil's fighter jets in São Paulo has yet to be built.

The city of São Bernardo do Campo is threatening to go to the Federal Public Ministry in order to determine whether manufacturer Saab, which had announced that it would set up the factory in the city in order to produce the parts to a Brazilian version of the Gripen NG fighter jet, is planning on keeping its word.

The two-seat aircraft will be designed alongside Brazilian company Embraer, although, to that end, the factory in charge of the fuselage parts is key, especially when considering that the configuration of the two-seater is not the same as the one-seat version.

Folha has learned that the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) is concerned about the timeline involving the Brazilian half of the project, despite claims that the project is underway. Saab did not position itself on the matter. Sources who are involved in the project said that a solution was not far off.

In 2013, the manufacturer said that it would build a US$ 150 million factory in São Bernardo do Campo, and that it would send the Gripen parts to Embraer's assembly line, in Gavião Peixoto (SP) - 15 of the 36 fighter jets must be manufactured in Brazil, as per the contract terms, including all eight of the two-seat models.

Saab announced this year that it would be hiring and training 250 employees who would then be stationed in São Bernardo. The city has said that it is unaware of any such initiative.

Sources who are involved in the project commented on the fact that, even though the Brazil-Sweden agreement was announced in 2013, it was only signed in 2014, and financing was only approved in August of 2015.

The Gripen jets will cost Brazil 39.3 billion Swedish Kronas, or, given the current exchange rate, US$ 4.8 billion, while international financing will take place over the course of 15 years, starting in 2023.

According to the timeline, the first two fighter jets will arrive from Sweden in 2019, followed by another six in 2020 and another 12 in 2021 and 2022, while the last four will be manufactured by Embraer in 2024.

Among the concerns of São Bernardo do Campo mayor Orlando Morando (PSDB), who claims to be "fully interested in the factory", is a political one.

The idea of using the Gripen project to contemplate the city belonged to Luiz Marinho (PT), an ally of former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, as well as a candidate for the gubernatorial race in São Paulo and the mayor of São Bernardo between the years of 2009 to 2016.

Querétaro, QRO. 40 percent of the planes that fly in Mexico use an engine made by this company. Since 2007 it has opened 13 production sites, the last two in February. Four years ago, it employed four thousand skilled Mexican workers: today there are six thousand ... and the numbers continue, but 25 years after its first investment in our country, the growth of Grupo Safran seems to be limited only in the minds of engineers and designers, who day by day create the innovations that drive the aeronautical industry in the world.

This was stated by Daniel Parfait, president of Safran Mexico, who during an aeronautical congress held in recent days spoke about the importance of Mexico to this worldwide consortium.

One of the most representative actions of the multinational in our territory is the installation of a new plant for the production of parts for the LEAP engine, established in partnership with Albany.

"There was a fight for months to know if it was installed in any other country and who won? Mexico. And in Mexico: Querétaro, "said the manager.
Boeing 737 MAX turbines are being manufactured in this plant under a process of fabrication of extremely complex composite materials.

This technology gave the engines greater strength, robustness and lightness to save 15 percent of fuel, reduce their emissions by half, and be quieter, characteristics that have put these turbines at the top of the market, with more than thirteen thousand orders from aeronautical manufacturers around the world.
Currently, this component is manufactured only at three Safran / Albany sites: Rochester (United States), Commercy (France), and now Querétaro.

"All the technology that exists (in Querétaro) is the future of engines for many years. So, Mexico is at the cutting edge of innovation in terms of future aircraft. "
The executive said that they are about to launch the first batches of blades produced in this plant. Production volumes are also expected to increase to reach an annual rate of more than 20,000 sheets by 2021, which would enable the company to meet its target of producing 2,000 engines per year by 2020.

In addition, five other plants in the shoal cover business lines as varied as: CFM56 engine parts; landing gear components; maintenance of engines and landing gear, and renewal of engine parts, as well as a design and engineering center with 250 Mexican engineers.

Labor "spectacular"

Regarding the quality that the engineers and collaborators of Safran Mexico contribute to the processes of manufacture, research, design and development of products, Parfait assured that the company was extremely happy with the workforce of our country, which he simply described as " spectacular". And he gave two testimonies of this:

The Safran Engineering Center in Querétaro has twice won the Safran Innovation Award.
The 4,300 employees of the Chihuahua plant - inaugurated in 1996 and currently the world's largest center for the manufacture of aeronautical cabling - generate between 8 and 10 thousand new ideas every year.
For all this, Grupo Safran will continue to focus on the generation of innovation and technology projects, now with the signing of a collaboration agreement with the National Council of Science and Technology.

"We accompany this important movement of the country to go from manufacturing to innovation: in manufacturing we are well but the future is in innovation and the two combined make Mexico have a great future in the aerospace sector," he said.

Horizontec H1, this is the new airplane developed in Mexico that already had its first flight tests

A few days ago the first flight tests of one of the last aircraft developed in Mexico were carried out. These were carried out at the Intercontinental Airport of Querétaro (AIQ), specifically at the facilities of the National Center for Aeronautical Technologies (Centa).
The name of this aircraft is H1 and it is a first prototype built with fiberglass and composite wood. The company that is behind this development is the Mexican Horizontec, in collaboration with the Centa.

This aircraft is focused for recreational, sports and aviation schools. And it is a two-seater model with single-engine 100HP. Its wingspan is 9.4 meters and it has a length of 7 meters.

The key is in its consumption, which will be 10 liters per hour, can have a range of up to 8 hours, reach a height of 15,000 feet and a maximum speed of 320 kilometers per hour.

According to the company, this aircraft is the first step to build a model called H2.1. This will be produced in a new silver that will be completed in February 2018, so that in March of that same year, it will be officially presented to the world.

The price of H2.1 will be between 120,000 and 260,000 dollars, and the annual production projected by the company is up to 40 units per year. Of course, first they have to finish building their assembly plant.
