The fDi research agency placed Queretaro as the fifth global metropolis to attract aerospace investment, competing with Singapore and Dubai, among others. Thus, the unit of analysis enlisted the top 20 global investments of recent years, also revealing that Chihuahua occupies position 11. fDi remarks Mexico's general position in the international panorama, by mentioning that a record of 60 FDI aerospace projects were carried out between January 2009 and March 2015, ranking third worldwide. These projects represent a total investment of US $ 3 billion and the creation of 7,400 jobs, according to the fDi agency.
