Why not add a functioning spaceship with warp drive while we're at it?

Don't worry. With China's current innovation speed, we'll have these showcased at 2035 parade.

A mega spacecraft assembled in orbit is among projects that Chinese researchers have been invited to study, as the country expands plans for future space exploration and long-term crewed missions.
The National Natural Science Foundation of China has called on scientists to join a five-year project to study the mechanics of an “ultra-large spacecraft spanning kilometres”.

Hot damn the wait is just unbearable. There are the CCAs, the ABM and otherwise SAMs, the ICBMs that as others pointed out they don't get enough attention (well, they mostly look the same to me so i'm guilty too- maybe something with 10 or more MIRVs would be truly attention grabbing). I doubts smaller items would have that kind of effect so it must be something else big, obvious and capable? Maybe nuclear powered cruise missiles and underwater drones like Russia is working on? Chinese Darkstar is indeed another/one more possibility. Does China have an X-37 like program (PS: of course yes, the Shenlong)? Various hypersonic weapons would look meh compared to those.
I think those insane western military fans they mentioned probably aren't referring to SDF users. After all, members here have already seen most of the parade gear that's been unveiled.

The "funny thing" about SDF users of ethnic Chinese descent is that many of them are considered foreigners in China, yet Chinese in the countries where they reside.

I have searched threads for "music" and I didn't find a more fitting thread than this, one so I'm going to ask it here

Is there any rumor and whispers for new military music/song for the parade? A few year ago we got "March of Steel Torrent" and "March of Sweeping East Wind." I am curious if there is going to be any new music/song for this parade.
According to Guancha trio, sadly probably No. However, rumors suggest reorchestrated renditions of timeless classics are coming (like 在太行山上).

What's the point of a scramjet? Its only advantage is that it doesn't need to carry its own oxidizer but that's effectively cancelled out by the fact that its intakes are going to drastically increase the air resistance. Its engines are also way more expensive, and complex compared with a normal rocket engine. It might be slightly better than hypersonic glide vehicles but it's probably an order of magnitude more expensive.

You are right but there is one area where air breathing is better - for reusable craft. Yes the conversation was about missiles, expendable ordinance but there is certainly a purpose to refine engine technologies for hypersonics. In this regard, China has test flown many variants of rotating detonation engines, oblique detonation aka sodramjets aka schramjets and of course various TRCC and TBCC combined cycle type engines which probably was aided in achieving hypersonic speeds by way of staged and discarded additional rocket boosters and/or air launching.

Since combined cycle engines, rotating detonation engines and schramjets are all much more advanced and complex engines to master than scramjets, the only purpose of applying scramjets is on single use HCM. Scramjets are considerably cheaper and mechanically simpler than these four other forms of hypersonic air breathing propulsion. HCM would potentially make use of rotating detonation or schramjets but certainly not any combined cycle. It just wouldn't make any sense to especially considering there isn't truly any performance advantage with combined cycle engines for single use missiles. Combined cycles offer greater flexibility and potentially also safety/survivability for reusable hypersonic vehicles though.

Possible items

1. IFV with vertical drone launch and recovery system

2. Fully operational supersonic stealth UCAV

3. Long range, stealthy, loitering munitions

4. Powered exoskeleton

5. Ground based, 500kw directed energy weapon

6. Reusable VTVL launcher for hypersonic weapons

7. Intercontinental air launched hypersonic glide vehicle

8. H20 revealed to be not only VLO but also SSTO, using pulse detonation engines, and capable of reaching Washington DC from Harbin unrefueled in less than 90 minutes, with a 20 ton payload

Lol pulse detonation is shit.

China has mastered rotating detonation... that means continuous detonation. Several test flights from even public research institutions/universities for years now. It's not even a secret. Chinese military is 10 years ahead of Tsinghua University rest assured.

Pulse detonation lol... what is this 1997? To China's top tier ring, that garbage is about as "exotic" as a lawn mower's piston engine these days.

The reason why DARPA was interested in HTV-2 was because HGV is really at the highest end of long-range fires. Gliding warheads can achieve very high accuracy and maneuverability because it's steerable all the way to the target and can extend its range by gliding. There are many technical issues with scramjet missiles in that its really hard to actually get good performance on it - X43A and X51A data was quite conclusive on this matter.

Both systems require initial acceleration with a solid fuel rocket anyway. The US can detect all missile launches instantly (SBIRS, HBTSS) and then just cue a ground or ship-based radar so if the goal is to evade or shorten the kill chain, it won't work. The aforementioned capabilities are what is attractive about gliders.

This timestamped clown in the YouTube video is peddling the delusion that if the US just prevents China from invading Taiwan for the next few years, China will economically collapse and no longer be able to afford space and military investments. He also goes on to explain that the US achieves more with two launch sites and two vehicles than China does with more than a dozen launch sites and vehicles. This is a sales pitch for more funding from the US government. He's just like all the other snakes angling for funding and selling dreams of American dominance. He's definitely not talking like a real engineer or designer. Instead, he's talking like a politician or a sales rep. Thank you for sharing nothing of value.

There's a reason "Punchbowl News" has 6k subscribers and this video has 429 views over 4 months. ULA paid them to provide a platform for pitching that the US government should do even more business with them. Then they paid a few senators to do some cheer leading before Tony Bruno goes on stage. None of this is serious analysis. It's a tiny part of a larger lobbying campaign.

In other words, ULA is failing to meet military expectations and is desperate to sell the story that they are winning, the US is winning, the US will win, and ULA is key to that. And please keep giving us lots of money, more and more.
