Latest consensus among the Guancha Trio as well as Orca is that disclosures from the 9/3 parade will drive Western military fans insane Call of Cthulhu style… What else will be showcased that we haven’t seen so far?
Nothing China showcases will cause westoids to lose their faith on the True Religion being dominant.

They will either find excuses like its probably fake and not ready and CCP is showcasing fake stuff to win without fighting, they will find minor flaws and blow them up like 6th gen too big and likely not a fighter but a tactical bomber, they will bring out PLA corruption as a reason that PLA has hardware but is too corrupt to fight.

Finally, they will bring the big gun that China spending too much on the military and thus will collapse economically.

Clearly if they're making that reference, then we should be expecting the resident of R'lyeh to make an appearance down Chang'an Avenue.

In all seriousness, there is a lot which we have not seen definitively in detail which could cause consternation among other nations.

Actual details of the CCAs/UCAVs, multiple new missile systems, could all fulfill that criteria.
Whether that's "exciting" enough for people here is another matter.
Do they ever release actual details about systems showed other than their designation?

Occasionally they give a brief description of their role.

However, when I say "details" I am referring to more than what we currently know of these rumoured systems, which is very little short of "new missiles which may include new hypersonics and ballistics" for missiles and "various UCAVs of rough approximate planform".

Having clear pictures, with names and maybe a brief description would already be much more info that what we have now.

Putting it another case, the question shouldn't be "what haven't we seen so far" but "what have we actually seen so far" and my answer to that is -- "not much".

You have to have a modicum of intelligence to hear and answer the Call. In their case the stupidity and delusion makes them completely immune.

I'm most excited for the DF-41 Pro Ultra with the 20 wheels and the solid-fueled silo ICBM. A bit disappointed that hasn't garnered more discussion here, everybody's into the drones.

Cause Nukes are boring and pretty much a known and solved tech. All 3 nuke powers now have similar level ICBMs. The only drawback China has is in nuke numbers and SLBM range. If they can have a DF-41 range SLBM, that will be the big game changer. Otherwize, nothing interesting about ground launched ICBMs.

Even if China has 1000 Nuke ICBMs it will not change the power balance in the region. Cause Nukes are not going to be used. But Drones, fighter jets and other conventional weapons will change the balance of power in the region.

In the Nuke realm though, I would say HQ-29 is more interesting than all the nuke ICBMs. If China can develop a viable missile defense shield against ICBMs. That will be a huuuge game changer, much bigger than the 6th gen fighters.

It won't be that much of a game changer until PLAN SSBNs could operate undetected, 094 and it's variants are still too loud and easily detectable. The combo of 096 and JL-3 is the real game changer.

Possible items

1. IFV with vertical drone launch and recovery system

2. Fully operational supersonic stealth UCAV

3. Long range, stealthy, loitering munitions

4. Powered exoskeleton

5. Ground based, 500kw directed energy weapon

6. Reusable VTVL launcher for hypersonic weapons

7. Intercontinental air launched hypersonic glide vehicle

8. H20 revealed to be not only VLO but also SSTO, using pulse detonation engines, and capable of reaching Washington DC from Harbin unrefueled in less than 90 minutes, with a 20 ton payload

Hot damn the wait is just unbearable. There are the CCAs, the ABM and otherwise SAMs, the ICBMs that as others pointed out they don't get enough attention (well, they mostly look the same to me so i'm guilty too- maybe something with 10 or more MIRVs would be truly attention grabbing). I doubts smaller items would have that kind of effect so it must be something else big, obvious and capable? Maybe nuclear powered cruise missiles and underwater drones like Russia is working on? Chinese Darkstar is indeed another/one more possibility. Does China have an X-37 like program (PS: of course yes, the Shenlong)? Various hypersonic weapons would look meh compared to those.

That's just a wishlist, rather than a realistic appraisal of things that are likely to appear at the parade but which we have yet to see or be aware of.
