Deino, I am saying that you should ignore the English language column because they typed it out incorrectly.

The original text on the left in Chinese is the original text which takes precedence.
运-20A in English is translated as "Y-20A"
运油-20 in English is translated "YY-20" -- however they mistakenly wrote it as "Y-20" rather than "YY-20"

Additionally --- my advice for PLA watching is always that if there is "uncertainty" in terms of names or possibilities, then one is obligated to assume the "less exciting" option is more likely.
In this case, it seems pretty cut and dry to me that the aircraft they're referring to is the usual D-30 powered Y-20A, and the usual D-30 powered YY-20 refueller (which we sometimes call YY-20A), simply by accepting that the right hand column's "Y-20" is a typo.

If we end up seeing the WS-20 powered Y-20B at Zhuhai then great. However it's easier for everyone just to have no expectations and don't look forward to anything interesting.

I thought Y-20A was powered by WS-18? The domestic version of the D-30.

I use them interchangeably, considering there is no way to visually confirm and identify a WS-18 from D-30 externally, and we do not actually know what the status of usage of WS-18s on Y-20 production (Y-20A and YY-20/A) actually is, e.g.: which if any batch they changed from D-30 to WS-18.

My friend, a girl majored in law and never interested in military or airplanes, just told me she got a ticket for professional day.
(a gift from organizer)
I envy her ticket too much to sleep so I post it here especially for Deino. ;)

She’s interested because the vehicles featured will be instrumental in the formation of the Chinese rule of LAW.

the POTUS should really find him another chariot 'cause Cadillac's also CCP-affiliated.
I know we're joking about this today, but I wont be surprised if stuff like this starts happening in few years when all the other tools have been exhausted and blunted. You can already see glimpses of it as they go after hobbyist drones from DJI because they cant tell two Chinese apart if they have a same name :D

Yeah they went after DJI, and at the same time how they cook up every exception clause possible so they can keep using DJI drones...

It seems that just like in 2022, this year again a Y-9 was the first aircraft to land in Zhuhai and thus "let the Air Show begin" :p ... and most importantly, let the J-35A finally land!! (via @央视军事 from Weibo)
