China should invite Nicola Sturgeon as a head of state to attend
Actually I want to see another 'Eddie the Eagle"
I'd like to propose a new Winter Olympic event: barechested ski jumping. Whether you are male or female, you launch your ski jump without any clothes on your upper torso.
Actually I'd also like to propose ski jumping with nitrous oxide boosters. Or ski jumping with flying squirrel wings.

Chinese tend to go over board when treating family or friends from afar. I do that for my house party all the time. All my local friends are surprised of varieties and portions at my party.I feel like they are overdoing it. Obviously it is wrong to give athletes horrible accommodations like they did at the Tokyo Olympics but I think furnishing is too luxurious. As long as they are comfortable for the athletes, they should be fine. No matter how good they are Western press would try to nitpick anyway.
India is doing its part in breaking the boycott by sending 1 athlete to the Beijing Olympics. Every little bit helps. Its good but getting at least 1 European head of state or a Western-oriented (i.e. Korea, Singapore, etc.) country's president would have been better for the "legitamacy" and breaking the boycott on that side for the Chinese. Still, representatives are better than nothing.

91 nations are sending 2,871 athletes to the Beijing Olympics.
The U.S. is sending 224 athletes, the most of any country.
Sports fans prefer watching athletes, instead of government officials.
one of the Scandinavian countries. I think NZ will get her medals at the expense of the Americans or Canadians.Any prediction which country will get the most medal?
Normally the U.S. is the favorite to win the most medals. They also has the largest number of participants. We should thank these American athletes for breaking the boycott.
Eileen Gu , Chinese-American freestyle skier, is competing for China, despite being a citizen of U.S. She's the favorite to win the gold in her event.
