Notice how Chinese female athletes manage to pull off gold medals whilst still retaining femininity and grace?Considering how much Chinese female athletes are carrying the Olympics, we probably need some women to go compete in the male sports!

How many Chinese men and female sporting stars have gone on to pursue successful business careers? Yao Ming, Li Ning and Li Na are the only ones I can think of.I would argue that it's because China is seeking to diversify its athletic fields. Look at the progress China has made in swimming since 2008!
I still say the reason female Chinese athletes do so well compared to their make counterparts is because of marriage selection.
Young athletic women are highly sought after regardless of their education level. On the other hand, athletic men with little education and no fame prospects do not have very good marriage prospects. Therefore, far fewer men would be willing to go into a sports career.
