They could've made the lie easier to believe had they said that Mirage-2000 or Su-30MKI did it but nope, they insist on people believing that an antique Bison did the deed. Not even good at lying.
Well, I think we have had rather enough of these news and claims. If they (India) think that their MiG was downed by an F-16, let them say so. If they think that they did down an PAF's F-16, let them go on. If they think that PAF violates the terms of end user agreement about F-16, feel free to blow about it. The fact doesn't exist based on people's knowledge. This is what we call "objective". Period!

Problem is that they can't even keep their own story straight. I've heard at least five different versions of the same event from Indian media.

would the camera and blackbox survive the mig21 explosion?

Yep, that's what a blackbox is designed for. And it would've recorded radio chatter as well.

That's why Pak ISPR keeps saying they have further evidence etc.

But they're holding back out of restraint. It would dishonor the IAF pilot unnecessarily.

Also, if we release it, the Indians would just claim that we fabricated or manipulated the data.

All it will do is escalate the situation by inflaming tensions. And we have no incentive to do that.

This entire clash, including the current fake news blitz, need to be viewed in the proper context - the upcoming Indian elections.

As far as Pakistan is concerned, Modi was willing to start a war to boost his own election prospects. In that context, the need to be careful about what evidence and information the put out in the open, as the fear is that if said evidence undermines Modi too much, he might go for broke and launch another military misadventure to try and score enough nationalism points to offset that loss of face.

I think that is why Pakistan is largely playing a passive and defensive PR game rather than going out of its way to embarrass Modi. And because of that, I do not expect there to be much in the way of worthwhile new developments on this engagement until after the Indian elections.

That's what the Pakistan's stance is since the inception about these incidents, its all tailored.....

IK & Pakistan's establishment constantly retreating the same that this all from Bomb blast in the high security area on convey & within an hour Indian media jumped on the gun & blamed Pakistan & then so on....

Have you guys had some time to pay defenseforumindia a visit? All those guys will disagree with this :p It's funny how the world's biggest free democracy with its awesome free media and well informed unbiased people can be so much worse than their supposed antagonists who live in a "communist sh*thole" with constant brainwashing and propaganda :D

I've never seen so many people within a nation be so outrageously irrational and stupid. They give neo-nazi groups a real run for their money. But certainly their defense is up because deep down they know and rather than admitting to the embarrassing state of their military, their abilities (incompetence), and the sorry state of the overall way their country runs and functions, they double down on the hatred. Truly a case study for the ages. Pakistanis are understandably rubbing it in as hard as they can and to be honest, these arrogant Indian chauvinist punks deserve some humility so good work guys ;)

It's a bad forum but BR is worse as they are sure that "chinkies & pukis" are now fearing mighty India. If those extremely nationalistic hindus begin believing their own propaganda (seeing how war hungry Indian media is) it's eventually going to effect their way of thinking and perhaps makes war more likely as they believe that India can take on both China & Pakistan.

Spreading that much propaganda is dangerous in the long run.
