1) The AMRAAM definitely struck a target, it does not self destruct.

2) K. Tufail is hinting the Indians successfully covered up the wreckage.

3) Former IAF pilots admit no viper kill is likely.

In any case.. we are still at a 1-0 tally, until there's some evidence or confirmation of another kill. A spent cartridge and some blood, does not a murder make.

According to senior Pakistani diplomat US is in talks with Pakistan to secure the release of Israeli pilot who was shot down and captured by Pakistani military. Faces of Israeli pilots were blurred to conceal their identity.

After reading several news reports I feel this conflict has the potential to escalate quickly.

I don't take this report seriously at this point for three reasons 1)Why in the name of Jahova would an IDF pilot be flying for the IAF in COMBAT!?
Israel is closer to India yeah, but Pakistan and Isreal actually have no relations at all. And the Isrealis have tried on a number of occasions to get a opening of relations to Pakistan. Why therefore fly for the IAF?
There is no logic to it. Do the Isrealis perhaps fly with the IAF in exercises? Yeah but flying in a exercise is not flying combat. Pakistani pilots did fly against Isreal in pan Arab conflicts but it seems a stretch that Isreali pilots would be returning the favor now which issues in Syria.

Pakistan "We shot down Su30!" No wreckage. No evidence.
Amazing claims are made fairly regularly in this conflict yet most are about as grounded as your average conspiracy theory. I am waiting to hear about the JF17 shoot down of an Indian flying saucer.

Or it was fired at a target went stupid and ran till it ran out of propellant and crashed.

Either way, until there's evidence of another wreckage or a confirmation, this is all a moot point.

Please link me the interview. I wanna see where it says "most" pilots even today are former Viper pilots. That wouldn't make any sense, even mathematically.

What makes a lot more sense is that those Viper pilots who went to the JF-17 initially, were for the JF-17s stations at Sargodah's CCS, that's our "Top Gun" academy. (I've visited this base, it was awesome!) This is where the JF-17 was (and is) tested to its limit, and new tactics developed. This requires the best pilots, who are basically at the instructor level. But the mainstream JF-17 squadrons are not for former Viper pilots. Viper pilots are the absolute elite of the PAF. Once you get there, you don't transition downwards operationally, unless it's in an instructor capacity (which is a separate assignment.)

Anyways, that's my current understanding.
