Afaik the latest 093s have a type of pump jet. There's also a model of the sub from one of the manufecturers I've seen showing it clearly, but I can't find that picture.

China does such heavy iterative updates on the 093 that new 093 are radically different from old ones. They don't update the designation for whatever reason, even if the subs are straight up different looking.
New photo of the model.

Someone argued that it might be a generic model based on 095 in its early design stage.

What does the sign say under the 1st image anyone?

Fitting a pump jet to an existing design is not a particularly extreme modification (see Russian Kilo sub Alrosa), certainly if the major intent is to further develop sub-components for a new class. While the various 09III boats clearly show some significant traits, I dont think that alone qualifies calling every one of them a substantial re-design. Best I can see is that they try out various solutions firmly within the design envelope of the original 09III platform, notably for such core aspects like hull diameter and overall config (eg double hull etc).

Its logical to trial certain components for a future SSN on an existing design, but I caution against the perception that this makes them somehow an 09V light. Notable aspects such as signature management, tolerances to fit equipment etc just cannot be accounted for, IF a next gen design features a larger hull and/or transition to single hull design.

Is this the one that was spotted on January 11, 2023, and posted by @Kalec? Or is it the 3rd one?

I mean it could be Planet holding high-res satellite image for one month.

Back to the point, I am more curious about the central part of unfinished hull, could it be VLS waiting to be installed there or shield against nuclear core?

10 SSNs per year is so fantastic number that I think nobody normal would claim that. That's more than the rest of the world combined and probably double that.
And all coming from a country that has built, how many, 10-11 SSNs during last 40 years. And 40 SSKs in about 40 years. So, no, IMHO- it's a pipe dream. Even the USN during the maximum Cold War production produced in average, 3-4 per year. And they had much more experience with SSN production than China.
Personally, if the PLAN get's just one SSN per year, I would be very pleased. Maybe once when they have satisfactory project, increase to 2 or even maybe a 3 per year, but that's for late 2030s...
There is historical precedent. US in the 1960s had the "41 for freedom" program which built 41 SSBNs in 8 years 1859-1967. SSBNs are far more complicated than SSNs.

Simultaneously they built 15 Skipjack and Permit class SSNs during that time, then built 28 Sturgeon class SSNs.

That's 10 SSN/SSBN per year.
