hmm, we don't know that much, since it's all really classified. original 093 wasn't much quieter than 091. Putting 093A down there is kind of misleading since 093A has progressively improved over the years. The most recent 093A is likely a lot quieter than the earliest one. I'd rate latest 093A at maybe somewhere between late Sturgeon class and early LA. 093B in my mind is probably somewhere in that range of LA class. I don't think we will know more clearly than that. Suffice to say that it is adequate and the platform itself is capable if armed with VLS section and modern sonar/combat system.

Those designations are incorrect to the best of our knowledge.
All of those (after the first picture) are considered to be 09IIIA subvariants.

Those are not 09IIIBs and the last one is definitely not a 09V.

That picture is bad because it seriously makes some big and false assumptions and misleads people.

Every halfway credible source I have seen says there are only 6 093s. The first 2 (093), 1 with a slightly modified sail (2nd pic - 093A), 1 with the big hump behind the sail (3rd pic, 093A mod1 - possible towed array reel, possibly natural circulation reactor), 1 4th pic (mod 2 with TASS) and 1 mod 3 (smaller hump, TASS).

We know that there are two of the last variant because there are photos of both boats sailing together. There are also reportedly 2 of the second variant. That makes for a total of 8 093:

2x 093
2x 093 Mod 1 (093A in the above image)
1x 093 Mod 2 (with the tall, rectangular hump and incorrectly labeled as 093B in the image)
1x 093 Mod 3 (incorrectly labeled as 093B1)
2x 093 Mod 4 (incorrectly labeled as 093B2)

The two newly launched boats at Huludao should be in addition to the above.

do you have any prove there are 2 of the mod 1?

It makes a lot of sense for them to just continuously iterate with 1 boat per mod until they get something they are happy with. Kind of like what they did with 052 to 052C.

At least according to @Patchwork_Chimera, they got a lot quieter by the most recent one. I have no reason to doubt that. If they are mass produce 093B, then they are probably at least somewhat happy with its performance.
