Now I can get sone insight in here, The construction of 6 unit Type 075 LHA for China's Navy at least need 2 Shipyards simultaneously (HDZH Shipyard and Jiangnan Shipyard)

Now I can get sone insight in here, The construction of 6 unit Type 075 LHA for China's Navy at least need 2 Shipyards simultaneously (HDZH Shipyard and Jiangnan Shipyard)

Is there that much of a rush?

It just seems inefficient to split an order of only 6 units across 2 shipyards, because there is more risk and no opportunity for the learning curve to get the cost down.

Sorry, it's just my personal assumption.
Because a couple weeks ago I confused with Henry.K post (that Hendrik bring to here) that said Type 075 LHA construction in Jiangnan shipyards.

Meanwhile what we know from last year, China's Type 075 LHA is build in HDZH shipyard like most China's Naval Amphibious assets.

Yes I am agree with you. Split 6 unit order to 2 shipyards is not very Efficient.
But if they do this to "give" some experience for Jiangnan shipyard engineers in order to building Large amphibious ships like Type 075 LHA, it will be more valuable and strategic even less efficient.

Because we never know, when China need to rush order for this kind of ships.
If that time come, then China have 2 shipyards with their engineers already have valuable experience in building this large ships

Why get 6 right away? Unproven design, that is completely new to them. Not china's style. Normally they get one or two, debug, perfect design then mass produce. Even if they want 6 eventually, I don't think they need two ship yards going at it simultaneously.

75 is no 55, which is really another destroyer and just a bigger version of something they already know well and have.

I can imagine the Navy having a requirement for 6 LHDs eventually but I'm not sure if there is any expectation or requirement to build them very quickly.

In any case, I'm curious to see whether it is actually JNCX that is building one or even both of the supposed first two 075s... or if it is merely a shipyard in shanghai in general (of which there are multiple potential suitors).

Agreed 100%.

I suspect they will have a desire to have a force equal in numbwer to the Type 071s, so that they can send them together whenever the need for a larger amphibious force arrives...or even in two groups of two for something larger.

That way they have a grouping for each fleet too.

And I agree that is is most likely that they would build one...or perhaps two...and then work out the usage, operations, any improvements, etc.

My own guess would be, like the the Type 071 (four years between the first and second), and the carrier (five years between the first and second) that since these are very large and new designs for the PLAN, that it will be one first, and then more at perhaps a faster rate.

Or it could mean that the PLAN intends on producing 12 Type 071s for a total of 6 ARGs with one 075 and two 071s per ARG. The PLAN doesn't have an LSD equivalent but LSDs are pretty close in size and mission compared to LPDs, so this would be a fairly close match (in fact the San Antonio LPD design is the basis of the USN's new LSD, the LX(R) class). By comparison, the USN currently has 9 ARGs with plans for a total of 11 ARGs based on the America class.

I think most people would agree that is a sensible number for the next five years. I can't imagine anyone seriously proposing China build 12 LHDs (edit or 6 LHDs) in that time or what not.

But I can easily imagine a total of 12 LHDs over the next 10-15 years, and definitely 6 LHDs over that timespan.
