I hope this isnt a stupid question but why are the smokestacks constucted in that way on the type 075? The American LHD smokestacks are constructed so that the smoke is steered away from the deck.

Flyover update. The lead ship will not be going on her maiden trial because a typhoon is quickly developing off the coast.

Yes. I am guessing this is the beginnings of the Thai 071. In the past, this dock has been building two 071 hulls simultaneously plus one 054A hull.

This picture also verifies to me that only one 056A is left, and there was a whole bunch of them not too long ago. They probably have gone to trials or to their respective permanent bases.

The second 054A/P is visible at the upper right corner.
