You are confused if you think China will send 075s to evacuate them from racial riots.
Again no, I never raised the issue of China evacuating them. Pls reread the post as the answer is clear enough in that. Can we please stop pulling out issues that where never there in the first place ?

I have never changed the wording in any way.

To me, and I think to most people, that is not usual meant when you wrote Chinese companies running afoul of local whatnot.
Refer to post number 978 and 999 for my answer. Just because the figure heads express support does not mean the locals do.

Is normal for some to not support.

Again, I do not know or care what people choose to think or understand, as I have no control over the matter, preformed biases and opinions is a sad fact of life. All I can do is to go with the generally accepted facts and prepositions of things. And judging by various response ( or the inherent lack), there is no reason to believe that other people share the same opinions as you.

Which can lead to potential clashes and violence that will necessitate a response or even evacuation. We are now back to my original contention in the original post.

Other than the Vietnam incident, things have been a-ok. As for the future, who knows, things could not have been better.

No, he suggests the possibility of a second batch of 075s (unknown quantity but probably three ships, #4, #5, and #6) while the '075A's will have to come with the third batch.

Whether or not there will be 3 more base-variant 075s remains to be seen.

So, he's suggesting:
First batch - 3x 075s (#1, #2, #3)
Second batch - ?x 075s (possibly #4, #5, #6)
Third batch - ?x '075A's

That is a LOT of LHDs for a Navy without a meaningful number of forward naval bases around the globe.

If it is for Taiwan, as the distance is so close, they could be more effective by building a large fleet of transport aircrafts & helicopters for fast and large scale vertical landing & paratroopers. The key is to gain air superiority, or at least successful SEAD missions during critical landing periods.

If it is for ASW, they are ASW helicopter carriers, not LHDs, and probably will not need a large well deck. It could be more useful to PLAN in this capacity.

If the issue was vertical lift for troop transport for the Taiwan mission I think a large tiltrotor or compound helicopter would be better.
You would want a fast and easy to land transport.

But if we are talking about attack helicopters the LHD is a must.
It would reduce time to get back to base to resupply. An attack helicopter will always be impact negatively in either armor or weapons payload the further away from base it operates.

Apparently this is what it will look like

3 launches with 6 month intervals, so basically 18 months they launch 3 units

HD is really turning up the tempo
