Wow very interesting and I agree this is the first time we have seen two LCAC together and is a huge development again pointing back at this incremental naval development from China

However I have one question why on earth are they both running empty this is not the first time they have done this deployed LCAC but they are empty!?

But it's a huge development next time we can expect a fully loaded LCAC or so I hope

And here's the area of the Type 726 totally huge!!! I reckon they can load 15-18 Humvee style vehicles on this unit looks larger than its American counterpart or even 4 large trucks

I am pretty sure sometime back on the LCAC thread there was a good guesstimate that the Chinese LCAC is a little smaller than the US one and it could fit 12 Humvee type vehicles.

Wow zer!!

Jeff have you got the video for that they look like screen shots and by the looks of it the one LPD carried both LCAC?

Looks like PLAN is really pushing ahead with the amphibious training for landing marines on the beech using all assets

It's a 3D landing which is using the full spectrum of capabilitys

If all 3 x LPD carry 4 x LCAC they can deploy 12 x LCAC and 12 x Z8 helicopters together that's about a infantry company in a single wave

Together they could land a full strength regiment to a beech head establish a secure area and then allow for the LST to deploy

Very good training for Chinese marines which number 12,000 men
